Facing each other through large glass windows across the portal, bar and restaurant are connected, yet separate. Portal Bar has a mischievous-younger-brother vibe. Let the dark blue walls, the huge ceiling fresco by Jesper Waldersten and the copper lamps frame the start or end of your night – or the entire evening. While dishes are doled out from the open kitchen, drinks are mixed and poured behind the grand bar. Choose between Nordic craft beer, drinks or biodynamic wines.

Our well-equipped studio kitchen is where we develop and refine our own cooking and techniques. But it can also serve as the place for your event, cooking class, photo shoot or party.

Appetizer: Portal restaurateur Klas Lindberg insists that every meal should start in the kitchen. With a glass in hand, let a chef awaken your senses before the experience ahead of you. Smell, taste, see – and ask away! – before the dinner starts proper, at Portal or our Community Table.

Dinner: Spend the entire evening in the studio kitchen and immerse yourself in food and drink. We’ll open oysters, grill veggies, debate vineyard terroirs – and delve deep into vital questions such as why thinly sliced cep mushrooms with brown butter and lemon are magical.

Up to 12 can participate and you’ll be accompanied by at least one chef, along with a sommelier and Portal’s entire wine list. The theme? Up to you – but we’re happy to help you decide. From 1050 SEK per person.

Both the bar and community table (länk) will be yours to use for meetings or conferences. A big-screen TV is available for presentations. In the morning, enjoy steaming buns right out of the oven along with hot coffee. Have lunch at the community table, in the bar, or restaurant. In the afternoon, the bar top will be brimming with snacks and cold beverages.

Available as chambre separée, the mezzanine level above the bar has a grand view of the Atlas city district. Up to 38 can be seated around our two community tables – the largest seats 28. The room will be adapted according to your wishes and needs. We’d love to host your long lunch, dinner, conference, launch, or party right here.


Our fall menu, at 1050 SEK per person, is available for parties of 8 or more.

  • Gougères with Wrångebäck cheese
    Elderflower-pickled cucumber with king crab and caviar
    Rooster liver on rye bread with cured currants
  • Pullet eggs with sauteed forest mushrooms and truffle butter
    Seared langoustine with black garlic, watercress, beef jerky
  • Whole turbot with sauteed mangold, ramson “capers” and beurre blanc
  • Selection of cheeses: wrångebäck and brillat savarin
  • “Tiger” sponge cake with dark and white chocolate crème, vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce
  • Autumn raspberries with lemon curd, caramel, nougat and marshmallows
